Shipping Details
Orders are processed within 24 – 48 hours of being placed. Please contact us immediately by calling (941)366-9100 to correct any issues with your order before it is shipped. Once an order has been placed for shipment, we are unable to process any changes.
The following information explains delivery details regarding your order. Please retain this information for future reference.
All deliveries are shipped via UPS. You will be provided with a tracking number to enable you to trace your order. Deliveries will be made curbside as drivers are not permitted to enter your home. We ask that you be prepared to assist in unloading the product from the truck. Please note that the average weight of a carton is between 35 – 55 lbs each. Accessibility to your street and driveway must be taken in to consideration when choosing the residential delivery option, as orders are usually shipped by full size semi trucks. Additional charges may be incurred if the truck is unable to access your home.
When your order arrives, please complete the following steps.
Visually inspect the condition and entirety of the shipment. It is a good idea to use your order confirmation email to verify that all items and quantities have been received.
You must check for damages and/ or missing items at the time you receive your order and note all discrepancies on the bill of lading. If you will not be present at the time of delivery, you must ensure that the order is checked for accuracy and all discrepancies are noted by the person that will be signing for the delivery.
Do not let the driver leave until all materials have been accounted for and you have verified that the material has been received in good condition.Flooring by Tile Experts Inc. cannot be held responsible for any damages or shortages that are not noted on the bill of lading at the time of delivery.
If there is damage on the order, you must still note the damage and accept the order. Refused shipments and orders cancelled after shipment will be treated as an unauthorized return and will be subject to a 25% restocking fee along with the original and return shipping costs.
Once unloaded, it is recommended to store the materials in the location where it will be installed. This will not only allow the flooring to acclimate, but will reduce the labor involved in moving the materials.
Did we deliver the wrong items?
Send us an e-mail at orders@fbteinc.com and include a picture of the item ID on the product label or provide the item ID with a complete description of the product received. We will correct the problem immediately.
